Main Plaza

In front of Bexar County Courthouse

In the years gone by, the southern portion of Main Plaza was devoted to the restaurant purposes of the Mexicans, and there one could obtain a plate of chili-con-carne, frijoles, tamales, or whatever his tastes might crave in the way of Mexican cooking including pastry and cakes and Mexican candies.

It is engraved in stone. I started noticing theses tiles a few years ago, the best one so, far? All about cock fighting, but dancing with the note that white folks are less fluid?

Sure. I’m good with that.

Bexar County Line
The courthouse tile the most properly evokes the sentiments for Bexar County, and it’s right in front of the old courthouse itself? The four languages?

Sure.

Still true, most near.
