Dallas After Midnight

Dallas After Midnight:

Dallas After Midnight – Delirium Tremolos

The lyrics for this tune are deceptively simple, and I was searching for catch-phrase totally unrelated, but the lyric came up, seeing the author’s name, the singer-songwriter (Ray Wylie Hubbard), I had to get it. The album it’s on, I’ll look for that in CD form, I suppose, as I recall its release, back in Austin.

What makes the song so deceptive is the relative shortness of the verse, yet the weight and impact of the story told.

Cool stuff. All from searching for an unrelated lick of text.
