Asteroids and Jupiter
This one explains a lot. An animated gif showing the orbits and relative positions of the asteoid belt. Just too cool.
When I work with astrology issues, and points in charts, there’s a reason other than I’m Sagittarius, why I pay attention to Jupiter’s placement, both in natal charts, and as it continues on its way, in orbit. The asteroids, always a contentious bunch, now make more sense, as they are part of Jupiter’s orbital pattern.
Goes with my observations over the years, always a bit of cosmic pea gravel causing problems. Ahem, illuminating issues.
Watching the animation, it makes the point that Mars, although technically an outer planet, with its tight orbit, behaves in a manner more consistent with the inner planets, Mercury and Venus.
The way the asteroid belt fluctuates around Jupiter indicates – to me – the importance and nuance of using Jupiter transits for my various prognostications. Nuanced, exacerbated, and exculpated by Jupiter delineations.
