For a while, I was picking up breakfast tacos in San Antonio, in the “South Side,” and hauling the bag of tacos to Austin, when I would work.
“Ay tacos!”
My merry pronouncement. Austin, with all its too cool taco trucks and hipster food? The San Antonio tacos were much more fulfilling.
“It’s the lard in the tortillas.”
