Dashboard

By virtue of necessity, I’ve “rolled my own” dashboards for years.

Dashboard

The dashboard system – in the last two decades – I’ve used a myriad of systems, the current one keeps track of server stats and uptime.

One is easy – astrofish.net/TV – short script and links, reveals server stats at a quick glance.

I was using the URL astrofish.TV, but that’s too expensive of name to maintain for essentially just a monitoring page.

A dashboard.

There is another dashboard-like page I’ve tried, and continue to use, a List of links. That’s one that I can administer from anywhere with web access, etc. That was lesson I learned, or the point was hammered home resoundingly, most near fifteen years back.

Web access is ubiquitous.

Having a dashboard to monitor is nice.
