At some point in my life, I had one of those now-rare books, a first-edition, beat-up paperback of Gibson’s Neuromancer. As a formerly avid reader of the SF genre, I recall the raw, unbridled energy that the genre experienced with the cyberpunk reboot.

There are two or three authors, William Gibson is certainly becoming one, where I’ll buy the hardback for the shelf, and I’ll eventually buy the iBook version to read. Meant to read the book, but the digital is just easier, anymore.

I’m unsure of the genre for this recent title, but the author has tight, taut prose, carrying the story forward across a convoluted set of intertwined plot lines. Great stuff. Kind of genre and style bending, way I read it.
