At one of the Alamo Drafthouse locations, the film I saw was almost a total throw-away, derivative of video game that was derivative of story, which then gets murky, no?

Not a great film, and probably soon to be on video, or Netflix. Or Amazon.

Alamo Drafthouse, the trademark bits are the B-reels before the film. There was a mention of an old balck-and-white film, “The Killers,” based on the story by Hemingway.

I did a quick a search, stopped off at the Wiki-thingy, then, found the orginal scanned in from Scribner’s Magazine.
