Writing Degrees

Writing Degrees

While I don’t tend to follow too many discussions about this topic, I stumbled through several of them, and I got wonder about it. Can “writing” be taught with Writing Degrees?

I’m unsure of a correct answer, but the large number of MFA graduates with the relative paucity of publishing deals, makes me wonder. Most writers are of the 99% who “Don’t make it,” and I refuse to be lumped in that category.

I did a shortened, linked version of this, sort of a summary, What I learned Blogging for 14 Years.

Does a degree make a writer?
