Wordplay and Brilliance
From Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure, act 3, scene i, lines 8–11
A breath thou art,
Servile to all the skyey influences,
That dost this habitation where thou keep’st
Hourly afflict.
The plot is way to complicated to encapsulate in a short entry. The Wordplay and Brilliance is from the entertwinned meaning of “breath” (can mean spirit), and being subject to the all the sky’s influences, astrology, as combined with traditional Christian imagery.
