Technically, it was InshoreGulf Fishingvia Aransas Pass. Great day on the water, overcast, cloudy, threat of rain, and stiff breeze from the south. Serious chop. Fished about three or four places, and I kept catching under-sized “rat” Reds — Red Drum that, in another month or two would be legal and keeper size. Exactly zero keepers after 8 hours on the water. Still, such a welcome break, and it wasn’t blistering hot. Makes it ever so worthwhile.
