No Hidden Fees
Promoter I’ve worked with over the years, that one promoter will accept an e-mail payment (think: PayPal); with the understanding that the buyer pays the fees. So a $100 transaction costs me, like $103.
For the convenience of e-mailing a payment, sometimes, it’s worth it. Although, to be honest, I tend to send a check as that’s slightly more archaic, and I like old-school, some days. Not sure how that works out, though.
So what I was thinking, as I saw that on the bottom of an application, a single page contract of sorts, as I saw that notice, I was thinking, “This is a good deal, as this is an absolutely bare-bones operation.”
It’s run lean and mean. Maybe not mean, but lean, sure.
Likewise, I try to keep costs low. Low, low, low.
No Hidden Fees
The yearly fee of $45 is about right. As far as it goes, that’s in line with other sites, if not a bit on the cheap side. I have found astrology-specific sites that charge a lot more, not that they offer much else.
A bunch of my stuff — a treasure trove of astrological lore — is available for free from site. Takes some digging, but it is freely available.
What impressed me, thinking about that promoter’s little plug, in some settings, it’s not legal to charge extra to use a credit card. However, the wording, quite specific, works well.
My belief was that the low price would be an incentive to join, and adding a price to the horoscopes — I know this from other sites I subscribe to — monetary value adds urgency.
Like the image suggests, “Always transparent.”
