Fly that freak flag, high and proud.

It’s an image of nothing more than an empty sign, over what was then looked like, an abandoned lot. Address was listed as 1010 S. Flores. I lived down the street from there, for a while.

Eventually, it was paved over and mid-rise, multi-use, urban-infill landed in that location.

My URL is gone, and the only remaining digital imprint of anything is that image itself, an empty sign, over what was then an empty lot. I would pass it on the way to and from the Post Office.

Decamped for sunnier climes, I suppose. I do miss portions of downtown. Other aspects? Not so much.

“Urban pioneers,” sure, that worked — then.
