Byronic Hero Note

The note reads:

story from
brother's Grimm
about the guy
who didn't know fear
(until he got married)

And that note was in the middle of some opera notes, August 2001? Guessing Wagner’s Siegfried, possibly?

Think the comment about not knowing fear until married? Originated with my uncle — Aries married a Libra. He would have delivered that line with humor.

The literary term, Byronic Hero, it doesn’t match up with the that third opera in the cycle. However, the story does seem to follow the Joseph Campbell theory of The Hero.
