Digging around looking for something I’d hastily scribbled down, I stumbled through an old post, set in New Mexico.

It is the perfect illustration of irony, as defined, where —

“New Mexico: Not really New and not really Mexico.”

A united state since what, 1912? However, the culture stretches back thousands of years, if not further.
