Pay Phone
Pay Phone
Simple enough image, a single shot of a pay phone.
“I used to rule my world from a pay phone,” I think is the lyric, “ships out on the sea.” And I did. Rule my world from a pay phone. That was then, and this image is nothing more than an archaic keepsake, an artifact to the nature of change.
The notion of the pay phone itself is disappearing, and their utility, too.
Pay Phone
A comic I saw sometime ago, two cell phones were talking to each other, looking at a corded phone, “Yes, we used to have tails.”
That image is from the mall, the one with the big boots. A simple image, and one that I passed by a number of times, unseeing, or a pay phone itself, how that brings back memories, and the way I used to conduct business.
