The line was from a previous post, spurred the idea, grammar guides as word porn.

I have several different text, maybe a half-dozen, and Grammar Girl is just the most recent. Plus it’s bedside at the moment. No Karma Sutra, but a text about grammar?

Doesn’t speak well to some of my activities, but then, in other words, it does.

Sure, it started with the Elements of Style, and I have to include the sentence one, too.

The Grammar Girl is a half-price books treasure, price-tag sticker still in place.
