Heard It

“Religion is for people who fear Hell; spirituality is for people who’ve been there.”

The problem with the inter-webs, I’ve seen this quote attributed to a number of different personalities, some even claiming it as their own. While I’m certainly not above that myself, yeah, no.

The sentiment and its particular message? Both quite good. Perfect for times like this. Seeking something spiritual, but no longer comfortable within the confines of extant religions for all their rules, some of which make no sense.

No bacon? Seriously?

Been there. Done that. Got scars to prove it, over and over. No one ever said I was a quick study about certain topics.
