Taurus is a fixed sign. Its element is earth, which lends an “earthy” overtone to most Taurus interactions. The planet for Taurus is Venus, the little planet of love, and things that taste good. Or are in good taste.

In a natal chart, I tend to associate Venus the passive side of the love equation, as in the way one receives love. Takes on a variety of meanings, derived from location, sign, and relative placement to other planets.
