There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
Now the times and tides have shifted.

I get queries from people, I guess, best guess is virtual assistants, looking for linkage. Like, “You had a link to (some topic) and here’s another link to (similar topic with advertising), and we think it would be great content as well as an asset to your readers.”

Standard response: send me verifiable traffic, and I’ll link back. But verifiable traffic is now “cheeks in seats,” as in paying customers.
Otherwise, this is merely advertising and standard advertising rates apply.
