November 2019
Mercury goes Retrograde on 10/31, at a point that is nearly perfectly aligned with Venus, briefly, both as evening stars. Mercury stays in retrograde motion until 11/20. Mars sneaks into Scorpio 11/19. The Sun moves into Sagittarius on 11/22.
Citrine, according to one source, is a birthstone for November. Citrine enhances creativity potential. With Mercury dragging itself backwards through Scorpio, this is a weird way to proceed forward, but working with the creative potential, sometimes, accidental discoveries are the best way to find new solutions to old problems.
There’s a vast, watery depth of material — and true to Scorpio form — most of this is lurking right beneath the surface of the conscious mind, ready to be tapped, unleashed and used to help provide for a better way forward in there following weeks.
The weeks leading up to the Thanksgiving weekend, are about figuring out what works, what doesn’t work, and what can be adjusted in our lives before the next year begins. This is a cosmic review period for making such adjustments.
As always, with the mercurial mayhem? This is an excellent time, right before the holiday begins in earnest, it’s a good time to reconnect with old friends.
The caution is confusing Mercury-driven mental processes with Mars-fueled urges, and then, to make this more messy? Venus is mostly in Sagittarius, gregarious, outgoing and sometimes, a little too quick to ask the best question at the worst time.
It’s good for reconnecting and considering more creative avenues to achieve results.
