A Minute to Midnight

A Minute to Midnight – David Baldacci

I’m weak in my Hannibal Lecter stuff, never saw the films in their entireties, just snippets, but portions of the tales leaked into the greater mass consciousness by osmosis — maybe reverse osmosis?

Starts out with eery similarities, but that might be me.

“Honey, do you really want to dive back into the past?”

Pine stared back fiercely at the old woman. “I don’t think I have a choice, if I want to have a future.” Page 45.

Weird. Ties to horoscopes I was writing. Wrangling words to move forward in the new year.

A Minute to Midnight – David Baldacci

Another Baldacci novel. Good storyteller, for sure. Like the way the words slide together and form a coherent narrative.

Yeah, by the halfway point? Can’t put it down. Rips right along.

Good read.
