Avery’s & Hurricanes

Avery’s & Hurricanes

Used to be a place in Port Aransas, Avery’s. Breakfast, lunch, supper. Basic, American fare, nothing fancy, just good. Really amazing food, some of the baked goods were, allegedly, made from scratch.

What was left, after the hurricane? An empty lot.

The weather, in central Texas? Might get a little rain, but probably not. However, Cat 4, pushing ashore? It will be devastating along that section of coast, and a failure to grasp the storm’s power?

Think of Avery’s empty lot in Port A.
