The More They Change?

The More They Change?

The more they stay the same?

One of the older, much older posts, just an image, really, the original Tourist Welcome images I used.

Now, a dozen years later?

I’d say the price has gone up, but I was first enamored of the sign when I charged $2.95/30 days for website access.

Current rate is $40/year or $3.96/30 days.

Over the years, I still love an occasional breakfast at the legendary Mi Tierra although I don’t really live in easy walking distance anymore. But I do stop in from time to time.

Just a couple of the images. I liked the prices, originally, I was living in Austin and the original price was $2.95. While I did raise it, eventually, after many years, and I’ve played with its format, back and forth, I just leave it alone these days. Still, I like that my monthly suggested fee was less than the cost of parking.

Park yourself in my horoscope, as I spin hope, fish tales, and something about a Shakespeare, in a weekly format.

Always cheaper than downtown parking.
