Digging through metaphorical piles and piles of images? Sorting and tossing duplicates, triplicates, and back copies? I came across a a nice shot of City Lights bookstore in San Fransisco. A perennial favorite, and the recent passing of the store’s iconic progenitor — Lawrence Ferlinghetti — just brought up memories.

It’s about revolution and revolt, fighting the powers that be, but doing so with art, wit, and a gentleness of a buddha.

Made me remember that old, dusty, bookstores have an aroma that I adore, even if it makes me sneeze.
