Moving on.

This is the second book in the last six months that has allowed for the notion that cellular electronics built in mainland China could easily be infected/pre-installed with sniffers/trackers. Think: spyware. Just an increasingly common trope.

Reminded me, more than anything else of another book I’ve read recently — one of the Goldberg thriller series. Both demonstrated that tight plotting — but this one was tight, like a loaded spring wire. Missed some of the usual conventions, but it was workman-like, and good.
