Interesting first chapter. Not often the series’s namesake is killed in the first chapter.

Yeah, weird echo, nothing to do with anything.
Fast read. Stayed up too late finishing the book, always a good sign. At some point in the pandemic, I read maybe three or four of the early Reacher novels, ending with one I could recall most of the details so I didn’t finish rereading it.
While the first brotherly co-author seemed slightly stilted, this one flowed right along. Gripping.
