Diablo Mesa
“servande vita mendacium” l., “Life is a lie to be saved.”
“Nemini dixeris” — Don’t tell anyone.
Easily available data points, but fun, from a puzzling way. But alien artifacts, Roswell, and conspiracy theories? Sounded intriguing.
Diablo Mesa
I have vague recollections of exploring the landscape in and around Roswell, and my memory, faulty that it might be, doesn’t have breathtaking scenery as described in the book. However, any visit to current-day Roswell supports the ideology that it was a vast conspiracy. Or whatever we’re calling it.
Gripping, fictional take on Roswell, aliens, and so forth. The vaguely magical realism of Preston & Child, having been exposed but never following up? This changed me, if only for wanting more. I wasn’t done with the book before I was online, at the library, looking for similar tales in the series.
That was a fun ride, an update to an Indiana Jones type of tale.
