That is the gas station I favored. Glancing through the archives, I realized that I never did the original image as an icon. Think I tried, but the limits of hardware — at the time?

But just clipping out just the round sign itself, and obscuring the faded tiles, and that original peeling ochre paint? The image loses its context.

One similar location was “repurposed” as a high-end, fine-dining joint, but I have no idea what is still there. Insular due to the corona and ensuing pandemic panic.

That, and I’m no longer “cool.”
