Saw this title on the bookshelf at the store, had a little handwritten “staff recommends” note underneath it, I think, so I looked at the local library for a copy.

“My curiosity was always going off on its own and getting piqued. It caused me all kinds of problems, professional and otherwise.” Page 107.

A turn of the phrase, and a New York full of poets, artists, writers, and lawyers. Maybe a con artists, or two?

Not sure where it went, but it was an interesting tale, with absolutely wonderful word work.

I got suckered into a character’s life, a slice of a life, a summer in New York where I have no real recollection, nor desire, but it’s fun.

Good book. Worth reading.
