Locust Lane

Locust Lane

As the old saw goes? “Cherchez la femme…” At first, I wondered if the title was a play on the standard American classic, The Day of the Locust.

First world problems, murder, and family secrets, over and over, around and around.

Wasn’t sure, but enjoyed it.

Maybe a third of the way through the novel, I was wondering, “Did I get this from a horror recommendation? Thriller? Crime? Post-modernist novels of recent introduction?”

Not sure, but it seems to be a high-end psychological thriller, with more questions than answers.

Shrug, modern times.
