The Road to Roswell

The Road to Roswell

ziaPoint: I graduated high school in Roswell, NM.
Point: I’ve enjoyed some of Connie Willis more humorous novels.
Point: Headed to Santa Fe, NM, for a few days.

Part of the opening of the book is set in the Albuquerque airport, incidentally, adjacent to a secretive Air Force installation with hidey holes in the mountains. Some say the Roswell aliens were there, first.

  • New bucket list item: July 4th Roswell UFO thing.

From Albuquerque’s airport to Roswell’s Main Street with the UFO crap-fest.

Roswell. Aliens. Wedding in Las Vegas — still my favorite place to get married.

Really enjoyable book, only made better against that hard New Mexico line.
