Why Astrology Matters
It’s a simple question, poised as an easy essay answer. Science, pseudoscience, or art? An intersection of mind, material, and matter?

Shakespeare’s Hamlet (1.5.165-6)
Which explains it in a short epigram, thanks be to Shakespeare’s Prince Hamlet?
Why Astrology Matters
Because it does. There are more things on earth and in the heavens, than we can account for. Destiny, while not totally written in the stars? Destiny does have directions, and we can read from the airy firmament for assistance.
Astrology matters, to me, because it falls in a liminal space, someplace between faith, faith-based, religion, and the dark arts science of psychology, with some anthropology, history, and sociology tossed in for good measure. It’s between art and science, some of both and yet, neither.
Astrology matters because it can be therapeutic without being therapy.
Astrology matters because its can be medicinal without being a doctor of medicine.
Astrology matters because like religion with no inherent belief modalities.
