More Mercury

MercRX For nearly three decades now, I’ve followed a pattern that serves me well. I don’t “write for publication” when Mercury is Retrograde. That means, in my mind, I don’t work on material that is either commercial, has commercial appeal, or is for pay, whilst Mercury is in its erroneous synodic pattern.

Simplest way to illustrate this? I stop working on the weekly missive. Rather, I stop producing new material. I don’t stop working, and I don’t stop cogitating, analyzing, prevaricating, or moving forwards, I just grasp that notion — self-imposed — that this isn’t a good time to do new “stuff,” whatever that might be.

Great time to make corrections, and the next few weeks will have a plethora of problems.

For me, personally, the astrology is compounded by a number of influences, but this is about Mercury, slip-sliding in a slipshod manner back into sage Sagittarius.

It will not be fun for some, but my attitude, and attitude helps, my approach is one of an open book.

I don’t stop moving forward, but I also spend a certain amount of time correcting past mistakes.
