Horoscopes for 2-10-2026

Aquarius

Aquarius As I’ve aged, and I’ve been at this a long time, but as I’ve aged? One of the processes in aging is that I’ve had to bury friends and family. It happens. Natural consequence of life, a little bit of the process at work. I thought about that because one of my old buddies is no longer with us. He was from the same era as that Valentine’s Day image, “Wedding rings and shotguns on sale now.” When I snapped that picture, I didn’t know it would live this long. Over the years, the place is in the middle of the Permian Basin, now a famous oil center in the middle of West Texas, but at the time, it was sad little town between booms. Pawn shops were gold, at that time. It also speaks to an irreverent sense of humor, might be lacking in our current situation. Both of those apply to this week’s Aquarius as we get ready for what’s up ahead. A little irreverent humor goes a long way to making this a better place, and that humor? It might point towards some changes to make — next week? New Moon.

Pisces

Pisces Outside assistance, mentioned, a few weeks back? How did that go? Did you get what you want? Did you get the proper help to answer those questions? Did the aid arrive at the right time? In the nick of time? I’m not sure, where does that expression come from, “In the nick of time?” Does it matter? Too many questions? How about an answer?

If the assistance arrived, in a timely and appropriate fashion, then your Pisces selves obviously asked the right question in the correct form. If it didn’t arrive, if you still need help, and there’s been no outside suggestion of assistance? It’s the phrasing of the question, the appeal, the request. New Moon, new start in the next week, maybe, we can start all over?

Aries

There are some situations — typical Aries challenges — that seem muddled. No clear pathway? No easy route? No definitive way to solve this problem? That is going to remain muddled for the immediate Aries future. It’s that simple. Instead of trying to forge a way forward, as is your style, instead of forcing, coercing, or hammering on that problem until it finally gives up a solution? The trick with this saturnine influence combined with nebulous Neptune? The little handling trick, the safest inkling of a suggestion? Nothing. Don’t do a thing. I understand that there is a call for action, and I understand there is innate need to answer, but? No. Just, no. Neptune will confuse, misdirect, and dissolve any good in here. Instead of valiantly, and uselessly pushing towards that one goal? Just give it rest. Let the dust clear. Let the fog dissipate — then move forward.

Taurus

The key to Taurus success? “Think differently.” Easy enough to suggest. There was a popular advertising campaign, it’s now historical, with the tag line that read, “Think different.” “Different” is an adjective; adjectives modify nouns. “Think” is a verb form. Verb forms can only be modified by adverbs. “Differently” is the correct form. My suggestion and staying within the rules of grammar as I understand them?

“Taurus: think differently.”

There are two parts to this suggestion, and the approaching New Moon, current lunar phase, plethora of planets in Aquarius, and so forth? One is the clear message about “Thinking differently” about a problem, or a challenge. But the second, underlying part? Notice that I opted to follow the exact rule of grammar, and I phrased the term, “Think differently,” in its correct style? Think differently, but stick to the rules.

Gemini

Looking at the charts for the week ahead, I got to toying with the software, looking for the exact moment of the New Moon in Aquarius, which, as I looked, a third time? My local software suggested either 5:58 AM or 6:01 AM, a difference of minutes in time, but both agreed on 28°48” of Aquarius for the location. The difference could be I use both San Antonio and Austin coordinates for mundane charts. It’s also back to my original idea that there isn’t a hard and fast line here, more like a generalized fuzzy grey line to divide and demarcate the divisions in astrology charts. Approximates are good. Exact to the second? I can do that, but it only applies for whatever latitude and longitude the chart is set for. As a good Gemini, there’s an ability to vacillate between precise to the minute and second, with Virgo-like precision, and an ability to see the bigger picture, and realize that this is a starting point, around sunrise on the 17th. Good starting point, but remember, good Gemini, your mileage may vary.

Cancer

Some events require grand, sweeping gestures. This holiday season suggests that big production might be in order. Before you decide that, though, look again. What I did, and what I’m suggesting, a long, incremental build-up is way better for the Moon Children, the sign of the crab, the Cancer’s heart of hearts. Little gestures along the way are far better than a single, big deal. Like this: I started buying flowers a few months back, and by the time VD arrives? I don’t need to find any over-priced flowers to carry my message. It was dozen roses, a single rose at a time, over a few months. See how this works? Worked for me, will work for you, too.

The Leo

Different signs, different personalities have different ways of showing, and showering, affection. Different folks have different demands. Look, I’ve tried to be the dutiful boyfriend, husband and even once, a father figure. None of that worked for me. However, I’m at a point where I can deliver a certain amount of what is sought, as an act of affection, because I’ve learned. Mostly the hard way, more mistakes, and bad guesses than getting it right. But it varies from person to person. Before the stupid, big holiday gets here, have the correct method figured out. How to show, and shower, affection on that Leo special person. If you know, then you know, and if you don’t know? Figure it out fast, you got about two days.

Virgo

There will always be “The one that got away.” Ask any good Virgo, and she’ll tell you about the one who got away. In my mind, and my current belief system, it’s less about “The one that got away,” and more about “right person, wrong lifetime.” What I know about certain compatibility elements, astrological glue in relationships, I’ve seen what can be a powerful physical attraction, but a good Virgo knows there needs to be more than just bodily allure, sometimes akin to lust. The way this Aquarius stuff sets up and knocks things over, like a bowling ball and bowling pins? That’s the suggestion that this might not be what we think it is. Could be, but we have to get on down the road, past the Saturn/Neptune conjunction, and past that New Moon. We’ll know more, later, if we’re still standing.

Libra

A lot of Libra elements in a chart is someone who is often “in love with being in love.” Not a bad position, just an observation from years of navigating astrology charts and personalities. With that in mind, the Libra in love with being love, the cautionary tale at this time is about picking the wrong target. If that target isn’t already acquired, sited, and tied down? Be careful — be extra-careful — with the typical Libra selection process. I tend to suggest a note from the doctor, clean bill of health, a note from the financial guy, can afford Libra luxuries, and references letters from previous lovers. That last one is usually a sticking point. Like the sign suggests, “Weddings rings and shotguns, on sale now.” (Old joke, still applies.)

Scorpio

Learn to keep it short. In the coming days, weeks and months ahead, even a year or more of this? Learn to keep it short. Single word answers like, “Yes,” and “no,” are perfectly acceptable. We don’t need to be consummate but time-consuming, side-quest, the extenuating circumstances that led to this decision process tree, just a simple answer works. As the Queen (see Hamlet) would say?

“More matter with less art.”

Sagittarius

Seldom mentioned fact, in the early days when I was syndicated online, replete with a host of copy editors, one changed the expression, “The beatings will continue until morale improves,” to “the beatings will continue until moral improves.” Innocent mistake, and an image of how even other people make innocent mistakes. After the horoscopes were published, the supervising editor contacted me and asked about the source, then the edited version, and we just let it stand. Didn’t bother me. Not a deal breaker, and I was getting paid. I figured, still do, once it leaves my hands? If I’ve been paid for it? It’s not mine to try and rewrite. Sometimes, I don’t even have to explain it; sometimes I do. It was a simple mistake of dropping a letter, over-thinking by a Virgo copy editor then a senior Gemini supervising editor walked it back. Then forward. The issue? Mistakes were made, not my Sagittarius fault, not our Sagittarius fault, what to do? Let the other signs worry about their issues.

Capricorn

Capricorn One of the reasons I enjoy employing Shakespeare? Two simple reasons come to mind. One, it’s the secular canon and no one gets offended. But more important, especially to me, now that I’ve seen a number of the plays staged? It is performance. It’s not “literature,” as in something we read, but it’s a play, meant to be performed live, actors, stage, costumes, foley effects, noise, lights, action, smoke, and mirrors. But most important? It’s a performance, a live, mutable, ever-changing show. See a show on Friday night, and see the same cast, the same players, same stage on Sunday afternoon? Quite possibly a different interpretation. Texture of performance, it’s the little things, the way lines are delivered, the feigned — or actual — chemistry between players. With the Moon getting smaller and smaller, is now the time to be acting like this? Is your Capricorn performance best saved for another day?
