Water World and Snow Crash as antecedents but laced with current social commentary? Might as well add some Lesbian Love on top?

Strange telling of tale, in part, starts, takes place in 1983, then later, and then, 500 years distant in a dystopia, a flooded world.

Punk music is a nice touch.
