Dropping the girlfriend at church? Then heading up Lamar, starting just north of the river? Rolling along an old, familiar road, it’s that, unstuck in time, and recall, in my mind, booming up the twists and turns on a 650 twin, well, not really booming as it still had the stock mufflers, but in my mind, at the time, booming along, leaning into the curves on a Sunday morning, must’ve been late seventies? Timeline is still fuzzy, fall, perhaps? Other disparate recollections, cheap student housing, a buddy’s girlfriend appearing in the night, no, nothing really happened, and echos of the seventies. Not much is left, and yet, more than four decades later, the memories persist.
Fragments of memories, bits and pieces that later became lore. But it really happened.

The cards? The sun in Gemini, and the Moon is in Aries, and starts the day, with that moon conjunct Neptune then Saturn. Really should’ve rolled a devil card in there, too, part of those Saturn flavors.
