Coyote v. Acme

Some time in the last three decades, maybe more, at a point where I actively ran a joke list? One of the submitted jokes was a humorous legal complaint naming Acme as a culprit in corporate malfeasance for faulty products. Long list of injuries, and the usual style of a court document, but again, my memory is porous and I can’t seem to locate any such joke on my sites. I think there was a New Yorker article, in a similar vein.

Nearly a dozen years distant, I had a pointer for “Rules for Wile E. Coyote”, but the linked article itself rotted away.

Digging around to find the orignal complaint? I located various references to the cartoon, Roadrunner & Coyote, digging back more than 30 years. While not a consistent gag, I think it speaks to several generations, and I know it has certainly kept me from dropping anvils from ballons.
