Virgo
It’s a familiar refrain, to my ears, anyway, and it usually comes from the normally dulcet tone of the Virgo. There’s something amiss, and no one is moving quickly enough to satisfy the Virgo mind. We — non–Virgo persons — should move faster and in more coherence with the desires of the Virgo. Therein is the problem: we’re not. The more you know? The more you know.
Libra
Ask yourself, “What would Kramer do?” Or, for a certain Libra, musically, “What would Jimmy Buffett do?” Pop-country mixed with alt-country roots and Americana from decades distant? Sure. But that’s the question, and there are a plethora of variations upon this theme, “What would (insert name or group’s name, something) do?” Valid line of questioning. Answers?
The trick is that Venus is in Libra, but Mercury and the Sun are in Virgo. Means that there’s a distinct lack of organized direction. No one knows, least of all, Libra. No one knows, least of all, your good Libra self. No one knows, least of all, yourself. Which then would suggest, like I started with, ask the question then answer it. “What would Kramer do?” He’d go fishing. For Libra? “What would Jimmy Buffett do?” Or whatever expression works best here.
Scorpio
For me, this isn’t new. I’ve had a virtual storefront for almost the entirety of this career. To support that, even before I was totally immersed in an astrology career, I had a virtual resume, as that was easier, and in these uncertain times, far more useful. That “digital business card” could be updated, tailored, and retrofitted as needed to answer specific questions. Originally, it was just a phone number, but over the years, I’ve addd and subtracted various other bits of information. For more than three decades, though, I’ve maintained a single e-mail address, and that shows the kind of consistency that a good Scorpio appreciates. So the question is, posed to good Scorpio, are you easy enough to find? Is there a digital imprint that makes it simple enough to contact you, in one form or another?
Sagittarius
“Earth Science” then Geology became favorite areas of study. The first degree I chased would’ve been one of those. I liked the order and the way it all made sense. The pieces of the puzzle, scientifically, all fit together, and for the observer, it was merely a task of figuring out what layer happened when due to what pressure, and then? The world would make sense. I developed a penchant for reading books, and that led me to a literature degree, instead. Literary epochs and times move much faster than the glacial, imperceptible pace of the earth sciences. Not unlike each other, though, I can drop the inquiry for period of time, and then, go back to that path, see what’s new, see what’s changed, and understand that some of this material doesn’t mutate that often. The Sagittarius mind seeks order in a chaotic environment, and the deeper the studies go? The better chance of finding those unifying elements. Dig deep. No, dig deeper than that.
Capricorn
At one time, I was an amazing listener. I was compassionate, caring, empathetic, and most important? I appeared to be invested. I am unsure of where, or how, I developed this technique of being in the moment, and caring, at that time, and being swept up in that emotional content, and then? When it’s over? Moving on to the next one. Over the next few days as the Moon gets smaller and smaller? This is the time to practice compassionate listening. With Mars, opposite from your good Capricorn self, this is a difficult skill at the moment. In the moment? Being present presents a bigger challenge than it would appear, and being present for the other person, at least for the time that the other person is talking? That’s what this is about. Bit more difficult due to Mars, but you know, the pay-off is worth it. What Capricorn doesn’t like a good payoff?
Aquarius
There’s a voice in the back of your Aquarius brain case, and that little vocal reminder? It’s suggesting that there is a deeper dive to take on a certain issue. A fact, a disputed fact, maybe a point of rhetoric that is presented as factual, but that niggling little audio message from the back of the Aquarius suggested that it needs to be fact-checked. Just because it sounds good doesn’t mean it is good. Just because it sounds plausible, that little mental reminder suggests that you look it up with verifiable resources, and make sure that what you heard, what was presented, what you read, make sure that aligns with reality. Just because it sounds good? Is that good enough?
Pisces
The more they change? The more they remain the same. There’s an incessant buzz that some sort of change is required, and with that relentless background noise, there’s also the hint that maybe now is not the time to change “it,” and like always? That “it” doesn’t really have an appropriate antecedent. Nothing points to “it.” But the nominally gentle Pisces still wants something to change. After the full moon, that desire is exacerbated, enhanced, and doubled in strength. But just because there’s an untamed source pushing for change, goading your Pisces self to do something? Does that mean you should take action? Therein is our conundrum, motion, just for the sale of movement, isn’t always good, but the problem being, if you stick where you’re at, then nothing changes. The first part of this is an answer to your own question, “Are you changing to make this better, or just changing for the sake of doing something?”
Aries
I listened to a psychic reader do a pitch for a media consulting gig. Think of it as tech help with tarot cards. Having been doing this since the dawn of the internet? I was interested in the pitch, and unwilling to correct mistakes, or, for that matter, interject new ideas. What I did? I stayed in my own lane, and I minded my own business. It was a great idea, with a few errors I’ve already made, folded into the equation, but I wasn’t consulted, and since I wasn’t consulted? I stayed away. I would help if I was asked, but I wasn’t asked, so I couldn’t venture forth with any assistance. Hint: like a ghost of some ilk, like my situation, if your Aries self is asked, then you can answer. But if no one asks for help? Don’t offer assistance.
Taurus
It’s easy, generalized advice. But it works, and it’s needed now, more so than ever before. Taurus? True to thy own voice. It’s that simple. Sounds easy enough. Is it? What’s with the questions? It’s about that special voice that only you have. The term “voice” implies vocal cords, and that doesn’t really adequately cover what this means. I have one buddy who was a social media manger, and his material always seemed to have a certain “voice” to it. Likewise, authors have a voice, as do singers and songwriters. So the term is widely applicable, in a number of different ways, but the idea is the same, for Taurus, for the week ahead. Find, and stay true to thy own voice. Taurus? Stay true to thy own voice. (However that shows up.)
Gemini
The question for Gemini? How to move ahead? Imitate the masters. Simple idea, and works different for different people, and the meaning can be variously interpreted, but the idea? Find an artist, an author, a practitioner that you like, admire, look up to? Find an accomplished master, or, at least, one you like — that you admire — therefore, it’s a “master” to you. Imitate that art form. Imitate that style. Borrow, steal, copy. Imitate the masters, and see if that doesn’t, as the week unfolds, the original suggestion was just to retype a page from one we all liked. Helped. Seeking rhythm, style, fashion, a look, something special. How to get that? How to get there? First step for Gemini? Imitate the masters.
Cancer
There is a rhythm to the sound of a keyboard, the little chiclet switches bouncing under the fingertips. There’s a sense that all is well, and this is an experience that can’t be duplicated. It’s the action of writing, the activity of production, and it feels like progress. I recall offices that were paper-bound, wherein the keyboards were attached to typewriters, and those things poured out miles and miles of paper, often “carbon copied.” For me, thought, this is about the sense of rhythm. Tap, tap, tap-pity tap-pity, pause, look at the page, ponder, then? Tap-tap again. Recently, your rhythm was disrupted, and the only way to get it back? Start. Make an effort. Might fail the first try or two, but get back and try to find that rhythm again.
The Leo
Me, personally, I am very much a tidy person — which explains the plethora of Virgo in my own life. However, I am not a Virgo, and as such, I like order, but I need a contained amount of chaos, too. For years, I’ve used a small, home-built monitor “riser,” which is nothing more than two boards separated by a few inches of space, and then a monitor is set atop that. The intervening space, though, it’s perfect as a catch-all for a spare pair of glasses, oils, unguents, knives, some artist’s tape, an older phone SIM card, a SIM card pokey thing, some holy water, a business card I kept for some reason, and other stuff. It’s all out of order. Unmanaged chaos, right in front of me. Yet, like a good junk drawer, it’s a way to keep and collate material that otherwise doesn’t have a home. Most of that stuff? Wasn’t suppose to be there, not permanently. But as controlled chaos? It works. Junk drawer, my homemade riser, what works for that controlled chaos for The Leo?
