The Synopsis

The Synopsis

The Synopsis is a perfect blend and fills a hole in my daily reading.

There were several sources I had for a news feed, but the synopsis is carefully curated with a single link and brief note about link’s direction and headline. Perfect encapsulation. Drop the feed into a favorite feeder-reader. The Synopsis is perfect bloggy-style reading.

I like a curated news feed, and from what I’ve read of some of the contributors, opinionated, occasionally strident, perhaps a very different background from myself, but unfailing clear on their goal.

Daily news roundup like this come and go, but I like this one. Perfect in execution thus far. I haven’t been following it for a long time, but it is an almost new execution of a familiar idea, the evening news in a single, concise and well-orchestrated location. Just the headlines, pick and choose what’s of interest.

There was an Evening Edition that folded, and I got used to an evening newspaper, so having curated, cultured, slightly West Coast (Seattle-ish) feel to the feed works.

Let the news junkies scour the sources and point to what’s more significant stories at the end of the day.
