Hurricane

There’s a song, Jimmy Buffett tune, something like, “Trying to reason with Hurricane season.”

True enough.

The current projection – my guess – is the Interstate 35 Corridor. Interstate 35 runs from Laredo to Canada. Chicago, Minneapolis, some place up on the other side of Oklahoma. Sort of a mythical demarcation point, too. East versus West. In Austin, the East/West points were, at one time, a serious line, along that corridor, a point where East Austin was “bad,” whilst West Austin was “good.” Not that it matters, I lived in both.

The hurricane, looks like it falls on that economically disadvantaged side of the line, East of I-35.

We might not even get rain.
