Memory Man
Memory Man by David Baldacci
Layers and layers, pacing, and I love expository passages that catch decaying situations with such vibrant details. Early on, in the novel, I could smell the cigarette smoke, watch the character’s palsied hand.
Just bits and pieces, rather horrific in its story of the slow decay of mankind, as the rustbelt fails.
Good book; promises to be an engaging, recurrent character; “First in a series.”
The subtext, especially in light of the previous weeks’ notices about marriage? Makes the subplot even more of interest.
