Always loved this the image, and by now, I’m sure the state highway department has replaced the missing text, but the image is thoroughly evocative, to me.
New Mexico Sky: Land of Enchantment.
Mostly desert, arid, dry, parched. Montains that sat out in the sun for almost too long, and have been ground down to next to nothing, shadows of former greatness.
