Wide open spaces

Sub-set:
I’ve grown to dislike the common expression, “Wipe its butt, knock the horns off, and run it on by” as a descriptive way to define how rare I prefer my steak (and tuna, too). I got to where I preferred the term, “No need to kill it, just slice a chunk off the flank and sew the leather back in place.”

New idea and expression, ‘How would you like your steak cooked, sir?”

“Just taze it a little, really.”

No cattle was harmed in the making of this entry – for the vegans.

“Doctors keep their scalpels and other instruments handy, for emergencies. Keep your philosophy ready too – ready to understand heaven and earth. In everything you do, even the smallest thing, remember the chain that links them. Nothing earthly succeeds by ignoring heaven, nothing heavenly by ignoring the earth.”
Meditations Marcus Aurelius, Book III, Verse 13

Airport Humor:
“All footwear will be X-Rayed, usually works better if you take it off.”
