Responsibility, n. A detachable burden easily shifted to the shoulders of God, Fate, Fortune, Luck or one’s neighbor. In the days of astrology it was customary to unload it upon a star. Ambrose Bierce in The Devil’s Dictionary
1994 is wrapping up to have been an interesting year, if nothing else. Astrologically speaking, it was pretty exciting, too, what with all the conjunctions and strong stuff happening in Scorpio, soon to be followed by Pluto’s big move into Sagittarius next month/year.
Aries: sure as can be, you must be one of the signs that is most interested in getting this year wrapped up in hurry. Been a tough one for you “Ram Tough” types. The best thing to do is approach the upcoming holidays with a high degree of caution and make a serious effort not to overextend yourself.
Taurus: you load feels like it should be lessening by now. The immense pressure cooker which seems to be located just above your shoulder blades but below your hairline is gently venting some of its terrifying steam.
Gemini: Lady Luck (what a sexist comment) is not on your side just yet. It’s as if your good fortune has taken a brief hiatus. Look forward to visits with family as the holidays unfold.
Cancer: stellar oppositions give you new reasons to reconsider what your position is. You might find some unexpected help coming to your rescue at a strange time. You will notice that your “vision” has improved, too. Have you ever considered a taking up a hobby like golf?
Leo: poor old Leo is stuck in this rocking horse situation: you can’t seem to move forward because you feel like you have one foot stuck on past endeavors, and someone keeps bringing them up. And the other foot is desperately trying to move itself forward. It feels a little bit like you might split right up the seam and look like a ¢ Gemini. The dichotomy will resolve itself by the new year and get ready to party on!
Virgo: sill looking for the perfect Christmas gifts? Aren’t you the one who was going to shop in advance, and never have to repeat this again? You probably feel run-down, over-worked and under-appreciated right now. It’s certainly not a good time for your health to suffer so watch out.
Libra: you’ve been patiently waiting on some good news, and it looks as if you will finally get your wish, at least, your professional wish. Your career seems poised and ready for flight, so get yourself ready to launch off into the new year with a good direction. Some of the problems from the past are merely faded memories now.
Scorpio: if you made through last month intact, then you are certainly doing well. You’re probably as ready as the next person to hurry up and get this holiday over with as you sense a degree of urgency at the beginning of the month – Pluto is on its way out of your sign, his home, so look forward to this even with an air or relief. Many Scorpios should be feeling this relief already. Just wait until the end of the holidays!
Sagittarius: µ mischievous Mercury is close on the heels of the Ô Sun as your time of the year rolls around. The problem with having a Sage birthday is that it always falls so close to other holidays that your own day seems to get lost in the shuffle. Look on the bright side: you’ve got your lucky ruler, Jupiter ª, home for the next year. In fact, you should be feeling the benefits even now!
Capricorn: by the end of the month, all you Cappy’s will have a Five Star line up in the heavens, making for some good fun in two areas of your life: finance and romance. That means you have a pretty decent New Year to look forward to, as long as you don’t get too carried away with any excessive consumption of holiday cheer. In other words, watch the wild parties. And, perhaps, it would be a good year to carefully assess any stupid New Year resolutions. Don’t make promises you don’t want to keep.
Aquarius: the hassle with a being an Aquarius right now, is that the same five star line up in Capricorn, starts out by making some very challenging energy for you at the beginning of the month. But as the stars slide by, the events get better and better. Learn to lighten up some. Christmas will turn out all right.
Pisces: the little pagan part of you really wants to go and do something special for the Winter Solstice. And, it is a good time for celebration and cheer. The only problem you might encounter is stress from worrying about too much holiday excess. Since frustrations are high, go easy-
