Watery Wednesday


It’s the coastal flats, the image is taken from about two minutes of digital video I collected as background imagery. Lifted this one frame as it seemed to capture the essence of the area.

My fishing buddies referred to it as “The Oil Rig cut,” or the “the oil gut,” by the end of the day. The name – it’s linked to an oil right that’s no longer there. The “cut” refers to a channel that’s clearly not visible.
