Pink Elephant
The Pink Elephant, or, as I commonly hear it, “The pink elephant in the room that no one is talking about,” I just figured, we might as well have an image of a pink elephant.
The image is from last summer’s trip to Seattle, and the car wash’s emblem caught my attention several times, but I finally walked around the sign, as it was spinning, if I recall, attempting to get one good, simple image.
Located either in the Queen Anne district, or adjacent to it, it’s mere meters from the ubiquitous space needle, truly a modern icon. The image haunted me for years, the giant pink elephant, and I finally, with this posting, hereby exorcise its imagery from my conscious and subconscious mind.
With this, the new horoscopes are up. Pink elephants, indeed.
