If it is meant to be
For a few months, I carried a fortune cookie because I liked its message. Wasn’t really for me, but I hoped. My current wallet is a translucent material, supposedly derived from sailing sources, and I can see some of what is in the wallet. I would place that fortune cookie slip on the outside, so I could, at least I would glance at the image of the saying, if not the saying itself, every time I pulled out my wallet.
“It’s up to you to make the next move.”
While I like the sentiment, reminds me to take action, positive, forward action, it’s not the message I would think of, when I would see the slip of paper. Think there are lucky numbers on the back of that bit of fortune cookie wisdom, too. Negates some of its efficacy.
However, thusly noted, I still like the idea of having a subtle reminder in plain view, like an affirmation of some sort, reminding me to be happy. Reminding me, just exactly how the world works. Since I can’t locate a reliable source for those fortune cookie tidbits, I thought I would make my own. Make my own fortune cookie reminder, not a real cookie.
One of my New Age Fang Sway “people” told me about one trick with a red envelope, carried in a wallet. Tucked up between the bills, it is clearly visible and gently reminds the wallet’s owner to be mindful about spending, thereby causing an embarrassing surfeit of wealth.
See? It works!
Right. I just like the idea of a simple reminder, on top of the cash.
If it is meant to be
It is one of the simplest of messages, and one that transcends my strictly astrological practice; however, it does bear repeating, over and over, sometimes in different guises, but the intent is always the same.
If this is meant to be
then it is up to me.
