Earlier, book 2

Night FireBut this more about looking for a book that has something interesting, police procedural, and with Bosch, it’s character driven, a lone person with higher standard of order.

I stumbled back into the series, part of the Bosch universe, while looking at upcoming book releases. New Baldacci, more Stuart Woods, Grisham, and Connelly — a new Renee Ballad book in November. Best reread, or just read, the earlier ones in that series.

Narrative form, in novel format, perfect pacing, gripping without being over-the-top with gore and no ultra-violence, me, being of a certain sentimentally and all.

I enjoyed it. It kept me up late one night because I wanted to finish the last few chapter so I knew what was buried, where.
