My buddy works at a tattoo place in Austin, the store’s name is “Atomic.” I paused, family business, and we hung out for an hour or two.
I’ve seen it before, I’ve admired it before, but with Halloween around the corner? The Atomic Virgin needed a better image.
Stands about three feet tall, maybe a little more, and it’s an extensively reworked “Virgen de Guadalupe,” only, in Austin old vernacular, “Virgin of Gwad-AH-loop.”
Impressive art.
