Are You Sara?

Are You Sara?

Recommendation from a book list of new authors to try. With a protagonist who would be that kind of POC that I’m wholly unfamiliar with, in a generic sense, it makes me more aware of the issue.

Harkens back to old discussions in a distant, now non-existent, East Austin — the far side of the divide.

What divide? Color?

“Life isn’t fair, and for people like us, working hard isn’t enough.” Page 128, end of chapter 30.

An Indian immigrant chasing that “American Dream.” Impossibly derailed by consequences, and maybe thin tendrils of latent but still present prejudice.

Stayed up,late,to,finish reading it, a twisted little murder setting with what I hope is a new voice in thriller fiction.

Are You Sara?
